2 weeks

I haven't blogged in awhile.  Last Saturday morning I went down to Flint to visit my cousin Paula.  We did some major amounts of letterboxing. It was really cold and windy on Saturday.  One of the boxes I attempted was frozen inside a tree inside ice.  I didn't have a crowbar or hot liquid to get it out with.  Oh well next time maybe.  We also attempted a box, that we attempted the last time we were down, and once again couldn't find it. Silly people and their difficult clues.  Well actually the clues all made sense right up to the end.  We just couldn't figure it out.  Maybe we will try to get that one next time also!  Sunday we did some Sterling Heights and Troy boxing after finding a couple on the way.  Monday, I went to HELL!!!  What a weird smaaaaalllll town.  They had 2 cool letterboxes there though.  We also went to Howell and Brighton.  I found 20 letterboxes........  Tuesday we woke up to a winter storm!  Yes apparently it happens down there once in awhile lol.  We stayed home until about 1 or 2.......but I was only 6 boxes shy of 200 and I really wanted that 200th box, but I also didn't want to die.  We finally decided to go to Ann Arbor......which normally takes an hour or so....it took about 2.  Everyone was driving 45 on the expressway.  I drove my car since I am more used to driving in those conditions and I just got new tires so hopefully we wouldn't be slipping and sliding too much.  We went to Saline cause there was this place that had 10 letterboxes.  Oh this will be awesome!  We could only find 3 lol.  Of course we didn't look too long for each box cause it was snowing like crazy!  Okay off to Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti.  We found quite a few.  Then we went to works4us's house.  Got to meet her and get another exchange.  Yay.  We stayed at her house for a long time.  They offered to let us stay there but we decided to head back home.  The expressway was awful driving.  I could only drive about 25-30.  I just kept behind this one car the whole way.  I didn't care how slow I had to go.  Visibility was awful.  Some idiot tried to pass me on the right shoulder of the road and they went in the ditch.  We made it back to Flint after midnight.  It took over 2 hours. Then it was officially my 27th birthday.  All the schools were already closed the night before.  The next day things were much better and I drove back home.  It took about 3 hours which is pretty normal.

I celebrated my birthday at Applebee's in TC with my parents and son.  This past Saturday I went to East Jordan for Brad's nephews birthday party.  That was fun.  We went rollerblading.  Shane had fun.

Valentine's Day was once again spent without having a significant other.  Shane was my handsome lil Valentine though!

My ex Grandpa inlaw died this morning.  He hasn't been doing well for awhile but got bad this past week.  He was a great man.  The nicest and funniest person.  I will miss him.

I didn't go to weight watchers last week.  I went tonight and faced the music.  What a sour note indeed!  I so gained.  Uggggghhhhh.......gonna have to boot camp it this week.

Good Week!

So this week has been pretty alright.......Let's see if I can recall it lol.

Tuesday:  I spent the day in TC with Joey and then drove all over God's WHITE Earth lol.  It was a fun time.  His mom passed away and I think the little break helped him for awhile.  I then watched The Biggest Loser which was great as usual.

Wednesday:  I was awoken with a text message from ALEX in Cali! Woot. Then he called me! Yay!  It was really great talking to him. I love it when people call me, just don't expect me to call lol.

Thursday:  Not much happened.  I don't remember much.  I know it was a good tv night though!

Friday: Joey's mom's visitation was this day. I went and he barely spoke to me.  All my relatives were there though and we didn't stay too long so it was alright.

Saturday:  I went to the memorial service for Joey's mom and to the luncheon afterward.  I took Shane to that.  He remembered Joey very well and was yelling for him a lot.  Didn't really talk much to Joey here either.  I am trying to keep in mind that he is going through a horribly difficult time and trying not to get bothered by it.  I know I am being stupidly selfish.  Saturday I also went grocery shopping with my parents and Shaneroo.  I got a watch that keeps track of your heart rate and how many calories you have burned woohoo!

Sunday:  I weighed myself (bad girl) and was like in complete shock.  I'd eaten a ton of not so good for me things and didn't exercise much at all this week (2 weeks straight really took it's toll and I didn't see the weight results I wanted) and my weight was DOWN! I went to TC with my parents also.

Monday (that would be today): I went and dropped Shane off with Brad.  Brad gave me major money (yay thanks Brad).  I paid my the fee for my license plate tags for the year and got my driver's license renewed.  I got the enhanced license so now I can travel North America by land and sea.  I was kinda pissed because I passed the vision test but I think the new license is still going to say corrective lenses.  That really jerks my chain.  I never wear them and I can see fine as I proved by passing the test without them grrrrrr.  Also I look like a fat moo moo cow in the pic.  Today I also discovered this website called MyShape.com.  It FORCED me to take all my measurements UGH.  Then it tells you what kind of body you have and gives you lots and lots of outfit ideas that would look good on you.  Quite awesome.  I did a Biggest Loser workout, showered, and went to weight watchers where I LOST 3 POUNDS! WOOOOOOHOOOOO!  I wish it would have been 3.2 though then I would have got my 20 lbs star but I was so happy!  I'm not going next week.  So for the next 2 weeks let's see if I can lose 5.2 lbs so I can get my 20 and 25 stars!!!  I love stars haha.

I've been planning my trip to see koalacat.  I kind of want to meet some boxers from down there but dunno who can on kind of short notice.  I don't really want to do a meet and greet cause I want to find a shitton of letterboxes lol.

Flint area boxing 2-6 - 2-9

I am turning 27 on the 10th of February.  I am planning on going down to see koalacat (my cousin Paula) on the 6th through the 9th to hopefully get some letterboxing in. Yay!  I hope it's not a blizzard or something or we will be playing a lot of Apples to Apples!  Who wants to party? Me do!

This week at WW wasn't good.  I lost 0.8!  Grrrrrrrrrrr

My good friend Joey lost his mom on Sunday :(  Today him and I went to TC and went shopping, ate Chinese (yeah that's really gonna help me but MMMMM Sesame Chicken!) Then we drove to Rapid City, Bellaire, Central Lake, Ellsworth, East Jordan, Mancelona, Alba, Gaylord, and back to Mancelona!  Wow that's a lot of places huh?  Too bad there was no letterboxing involved.  I did buy some studio g $1.00 inks at Joanns though so I guess letterboxing was involved a little!

The snow came back today.   Not fun.

First Letterbox of 2010

Yay! Yesterday (Saturday), my mom wanted to go drive somewhere that she had never been before. We decided on Tawas City. It's on Lake Huron. I decided to print of a clue for a letterbox. The directions sounded easy enough. I should point out (again) that I live in the snow belt. I can't go letterboxing in the winter for the most part. We get a lot of snow. Not a little skimp where the ground is barely covered but rather where we have a least a foot of snow on the ground at all times. Many of the places that have letterboxes are not accessible with a car in the winter. I don't have snow shoes or cross country skis. Assuming I had those to help me out, I still would have to at least shovel the letterbox out of somewhere. Of course there is also the problem of having a pretty good chance landmarks and things mentioned in the clue will also be covered with snow. Anywho you get the idea..letterboxing in Mancelona, MI in the winter is not exactly a good idea.  Also, there really aren't that many letterboxes within reasonable driving distance of Mancelona.

SOOOooooooo Tawas City is further south and definitely not it in the snow belt. There was hardly any snow there. I had to take my son to his dad in Gaylord, so we went that way. My mom didn't want to take I75 because she wanted to see little towns and stuff. We drove all the way to Alpena and then south to Tawas. We stopped in some town on the way and did some resale shopping at the Salvation Army. I got Shane a few things, and I got a little black purse and a new wallet. Salvation Army is a million times cheaper than Goodwill. Goodwill is a giant ripoff in my opinion. Anyway daylight was fading fast. By the time we got to Tawas, it was dark. We found the place where the letterbox was located. My Dad was with me. The directions were simple sounding until you get to the last clue and then look around you. Crap! This is "interesting"; especially in the dark. My Dad finally found the box though. First finders!

After letterboxing, we went to walmart in Tawas. I didn't really like this store. It was set up exactly like the one in Killeen, TX which didn't bring back any happy memories at all. Also, the deli there doesn't mark down their chicken pfffffftttt whatever lol. On the way home, we stopped at this KFC/Taco Bell place at the drive thru in Oscoda. I had a KFC Snacker and it was disgusting. I've had them before and didn't remember them tasting like that. We got home a little after midnight.....and then I stayed up til 4 am watching Deliverance!!!! Haaaahahahaha.

January Thaw

So in the snow belt of Michigan, it has been in the mid to upper 30's all week. It hit 40 on Saturday! I am seeing bare patches of grass! What a strange site! I love when the snow is melting. Letterboxing can't be too far away =) Okay I am dreaming. It's nice right now (nice for mid winter in Northern Michigan anyway lol), but I am sure we will still get some more snow dumped on us before Spring springs.

So it was another week on my Weight Watchers program tonight. I got my 16th meeting medal tonight. I lost 1.6 lbs. I was expecting to lose more because I worked hard. I did a Biggest Loser workout everyday!!! Tonight though at the meeting, the leader said that sometimes we work really hard at getting activity in, and it doesn't show up on the scales because we are building muscle. She encouraged us to start taking measurements as that is another way to measure success. I guess I should have taken mine before I joined. I guess I was too depressed to think what they would say! I know I have lost inches. My pants don't like to stay up around my waist...I guess that's good. I don't have to buy new clothes either since I have about every size of clothes I will ever need in boxes somewhere!!!! I used to be a lot smaller than I am now. I am not going to get discouraged and I am going to keep working out everyday. Eventually the scales will catch up!

The New Year and such

Well the first snow fell the day after Thanksgiving, and hasn't quit. I live in the snow belt so that is to be expected. However this means no letterboxing up north for me for awhile. Koalacat wants me to go downstate and box down there as they don't get much snow. It's still cold and the ground is froze of course. I don't know though. I don't have a job or any kind of income at the moment, so it's probably not a good idea to go down anytime soon.

In other news, I joined Weight Watchers on the first Monday in October. I am not losing very fast and it's discouraging me kind of. I've only lost 15 lbs in 3 months. I guess that is better than gaining 15 lbs but still not fast enough to satisfy me. My parents bought me The Biggest Loser game for the Wii for Christmas. I really like that game. I am hoping that it well help me lose a bit faster. I gained the last 2 weeks. That isn't surprising considering it was the holidays and I didn't gain much but it's just another setback. I need to get kicked in the butt! At Weight Watchers last night we had to make a goal for the 1st meeting in April. It could be anything. It didn't have to necessarily be weight loss, but that is what I chose. We had to write it down in a card and seal it. The leader is going to send them to us at the end of March. I am thinking I set my goal too high though and that I might not achieve it. I know that is definitely not the right attitude to have! I guess I will just have to get motivated. I chose to lose more weight in the next 3 months than I have in the last three. I'm excited that the Biggest Loser is back on. That show inspires me big time.

Christmas this year was good. Shane got a lot of presents! I love watching him being excited about things. He means the world to me. I love him more than anyone or anything.

I'm still single. Ugh. I totally hate being single. I want a boyfriend! Ha that sounds cheesy but it's true. But I want a good guy and I don't want to just settle with the first guy that comes along (but I may if I think he is the right one of course). Although I know I can't be a fat cow like I am now, if I am expecting someone to be attracted to me.

Alright, I don't know what else to blog about! My blogs aren't very organized! =D

My adventures in letterboxing thus far

This entry will also be on the long side as it is going to basically sum up anything I deem sort of interesting that has happened to me while letterboxing. Some parts will be funny or at least amusing, so you may want to keep reading =)

July 2007: The AmazinGrace as it was called, began on a Friday. I was on a team with my dad and my 3 month old son. My Dad didn't want to take any time off work to start the race early, so we were the last to leave at about 4:00 pm. The race wasn't scored by who finished first, but rather on points earned for things along the way. When we got to one of the stops, we had to climb this hill to find a letterbox. We had been instructed not to open any envelopes or you would lose points. But there was an envelope we were supposed to open but we didn't know that. The clue on the outside of the envelope just said to find the letterbox on Avalanche Hill (which is a very steep climb). Sooooo my Dad and I had no clue what a letterbox was......we were looking everywhere for something that looked like a mailbox or a comments box! When we got to the top of the hill we realized we had forgotten the clue envelope at the bottom. Back down we go. I was carrying a baby in a pack carrier (not the kind for long hiking either) and we had to climb back up the hill, then still had no clue what we were doing so came back down. The way down this time, my legs were like rubber and I tripped and almost fell face first with the baby. Finally, someone called us and were quite surprised we were still at the first spot. They said oh you were supposed to open that envelope. OOOOPS. He then just told us exactly where the letterbox was because he was worried we were taking too long. That was just the first of many setbacks on the race. It ended up getting dark, and my Dad has a pretty short fused temper and has very little patience, but is still very stubborn at the same time. He wanted to do all the tasks anyway! Finally the event planner convinced him to give up. We were supposed to find 3 letterboxes but only found the one. We got to our final destination of Brevort Lake around midnight!!!!! That was my first taste of letterboxing, and though it was pretty much an epic fail, I was intrigued. A couple weeks after that event, my family and I (including my Dad) went and found the letterboxes we were supposed to find plus a few more in the areas. Labor Day 2007, my family (including my then boyfriend/father of my son) went camping with my ex inlaws (sounds awkward but I get along with them just fine and they liked my bf). They were actually the ones that introduced letterboxing to the person that planned the event. So while camping, we decided to go letterboxing in the Mackinac City area. We found a couple but we couldn't find Shh Boy Gun! ( I found this box 2 years later with koalacat)

I didn't go letterboxing again until about July of 2008. This is because of the fact that my team tied for LOSING the Amazing Race, and thus had to plan the next one. My good friend Bonnie and her husband and our kids all went letterboxing in the Traverse City area to find possible places for our racers to find. We had lots of fun eating icecream at Moomers! Labor Day weekend, I again went letterboxing with my Dad and my ex inlaws (my then bf didn't come camping that time) and found quite a few in Mackinaw City and St Ignace.

Fast forward to the end of March 2009. I mentioned to my cousin Paula aka koalacat that I couldn't wait for it to warm up so I could go letterboxing again. "What is letterboxing?" She was very interested in it when I explained. She came up and I took her letterboxing. First though we had to go to Family Dollar and buy her first logbook and then to the True Value Hardware to buy her first stamps. (yeah I live in small town USA) I didn't really know that people actually hand carved stamps on a normal basis, or that this was the preferred method, even though I had found a few hand carved stamps in letterboxes. I took koalacat to a few of the letterboxes I had found in the Traverse City area and a couple new ones to me. There was still snow on the ground in some areas, so this was interesting.

In the middle of April, I decided to plant some letterboxes as there weren't really any near me. They were all store bought stamps and I planted them in interesting locations. I didn't want to try carving yet.

April 25th 2009 while letterboxing in the rain with koalacat (yeah I know right) I was about to grab a letterbox at the Northern Michigan Asylum in the woods. Lightning strikes as I am reaching for the box. It goes right in across my face. I have never run so fast in my life! Didn't get the box but did later on. The day before that we spent hours on this hike on Old Mission Peninsula finding The Weagus.

May 6th & 7th I went to visit koalacat, who lives in Flint, and we found several boxes. My 2 year old son fell off a boardwalk into a swamp/creek/river thing while we were looking under it for a box we never found! This is also when I found my favorite box so far "Oh, Wow!".

June 5th, 2009 koalacat was up again and we attempted to find a letterbox in cemetery in the dark! Haaaa didn't quite work out. The next day we buried my little car in the sand on a two track! Luckily some cute guys came and pulled us out! We found the cemetery box also!

July 18th - 21st I was down visiting koalacat again and found a bunch more letterboxes. We had a very creepy experience in the Plymouth Riverside Cemetery where there are 2 boxes but needless to say we only found the one! Neither I nor koalacat had ever been approached by anyone in a cemetery before for any reason. We got approached twice in this cemetery and it wasn't for a normal thing like to check the time or something like that. The first guy approached us before we found the first box. He was like "do you need help finding a headstone. I know about every grave here because I come here to meditate." That was a little odd but whatever he went on his way. We found the first box. We were following the clues to the second box and I heard someone singing in the distance. I saw a guy in the back corner of the cemetery. I didn't think much of this. We were at one of the places in the clue and this guy was like "how do you walk on the graves?" and started walking towards us. He looked about our age or maybe younger. He was wearing an army jacket thing. We didn't answer but he kept on talking. He asked if we were students and we said no we were just looking around. He was like most of the graves here are military- that's what the flags mean (we knew this of course). Then he proceeded to name off every war the US has ever been in and then he said something about some of them mean police officers or something. We were at a grave of someone named McHenry. He noticed that and said "oh too bad it's not Henry Ford that would be awesome." I was getting a little creeped out. There was definitely some screws loose in this guy. THEN he started talking about ghosts. He said "this cemetery has lots happening in it at night time." He said "ghosts come out. If you show fear to them they sense it and attack you but if you don't show any fear they just appear to be normal people and you can interact with them." He then said that koalacat and I could be a couple of good looking ghosts talking to him for all he knew. If you know me at all then you know that I laugh not only when things are funny but when I am uncomfortable or scared and when it's the latter two I usually cannot control it and become hysterical. I started walking away because I was so scared and I was laughing. He started following us!!! He then asked if we were students again. No. Then he asked if he could walk around the cemetery with us. koalacat said we were getting ready to leave. He then said he was sorry if he scared us and said he was kind of lost in the cemetery and didn't know how to get out. We showed him the road but he didn't leave he kept walking around the cemetery. We drove the car and kind of got lost ourselves. We ended up passing him again but we kept driving trying to find the way out. koalacat accidentally beeped her horn. Right after that, I thought I found the spot where we were supposed to go for the next clue so she stopped the car and I was about to get out to go see and she was like noooo get back in he is standing right in front of us! We finally left. I was disappointed that we didn't get to the second box. However I was glad we were away from that guy. I didn't know what was wrong with him. He seemed to be on crack, or someone who escaped a mental institution, or maybe he was in the military and had some serious war trauma, or maybe someone he was close to had died and he was just overwrought with grief, or maybe he was a lonely ghost! I don't know but that was the creepiest letterboxing experience I have ever had.

August 9th 2009 - I finally carved for the first time! I did two stamps. They don't look too bad either. How exciting! One of them went missing right away, so I had to redo it and plant it in a slightly different spot.

Sept 23-29 2009 - We went back to St. Ignace and found Windjammers elusive to us last time box. Then we went to Sault Ste Marie and Brimley. We watched a freighter go through the Soo Locks. We found a few boxes up there. We also did some boxing in the Traverse City area again. However on Monday afternoon we get this bright idea to drive to Cleveland, OH from Mancelona, MI. (uh huh yeah). We decide to go by way of Grand Rapids so we could eat at a Red Robin. This took us way out of the way of course. We should have just gone down I 75 as there is a Red Robin there also. I do not know what we were thinking. Anyway so we have to go to Indiana. It's around 11 PM and we are so tired. We want to find a hotel but there just aren't any at all on the side of the road even in the bigger towns! Indiana is crazy! We ended up driving around Goshen, IN at 1am which in my opinion was kind of scary. We finally decided to get on I80 and head East but we were sooooo exhausted. We finally found a hotel and crashed. We got to Cleveland/Parma around 2ish. We were there to find 20 boxes related to the Twilight Saga. We found 10. It was cold, rainy and started to get dark and we really couldn't find the area we were supposed to start the 3rd series at so we left and headed back home. Someday we will go back and find the rest. I hope it's not raining when we do.

October 2nd 2009, I planted another hand carved stamp. This one is special to me and I really hope it doesn't go missing. It's in remembrance of my big sister and younger cousin who both passed away of similar forms of cancer at very young ages.

October 20, 2009 - I decided to take a trip by myself to Manistee by way of 131 so I could get 2 letterboxes on the way. I found those, and then proceeded to follow directions to a location that had 3 boxes planted. I could only find two, but only because the third box had fishermen practically on top of it. I then went to this place in Manistee called the Big M cross country trail. I paid 5.00 to park there even though there wasn't anyone there and you just put money in an envelope. There are 16 boxes planted there so I was pretty excited. Then I realized I was the only one there and it's in the Manistee National Forest and there were bear crossing signs nearby. So I was a little creeped out by the thought of hiking in these woods alone. I did it though and found the 5 boxes that were on the first part of the trail. THEN I realized I had locked my keys in the car! OMG. I do not have AAA and I am a LONG ways from home! I called my Dad and brother anyway because that is what I do when I am freaking out about car problems. I was like can't you go look online for a tow truck number or something. They couldn't find anything helpful so I called 411 and got a tow truck to come out. Waiting for him to get there wasn't very fun. He still hasn't cashed that check either. It was getting too dark for my well being to continue hiking in the woods so I left to find other boxes that were easier. I got to see a bald eagle up close! I walked on Lake Michigan's sandy beach to find one. Then I decide to go find one in the dark since it was really easy. It was located at this scenic overlook in Arcadia. I get there and park and then decide I should move my car so the headlights will be shining where I need to look. However when I go to do that the car starts and stalls immediately. Crap! I try like 50 times..Again I call my parents FREAKING out! It's really dark and no one drives on that highway really. They had to drive a 90 mile one way trip to come get me. My Dad couldn't get the car to start either so we left it there. The Saturn dealer said it was probably an anti theft mechanism that requires unhooking the battery for a half hour. The next day we go back and do that. We climbed the stairs to the scenic overlook lots of times in that half hour. My car started though! Yay!

November 1st, 2009: I drove down to visit koalacat again. We did lots of letterboxing. We found a couple of papa's boxes. That is saying something, too. He makes extremely difficult to follow clues. koalacat is a vegetarian, and she took me to a vegetarian restaurant called Seva in Ann Arbor. It was surprisingly very yummy! While down there, I also got to meet MI Girl from SITE Slueths. She is pretty cool. I got some of her personal travelers (okay about all of them I think) and did an exchange with her.

I THINK that's about all of the fun-ness I have had with letterboxing thus far. If I am leaving anything out, I am sure koalacat will tell me :)

What is letterboxing you say?

This post will be very long because it's the first one! I am sorry for anyone that reads this from AQ as this is basically mostly explaining what letterboxing is to anyone that might happen across my blog that isn't a letterboxer.

To me, letterboxing is a fantastic hobby. You go to Letterboxing.org and/or atlasquest.com, enter the location you wish to "box" in, and then print off the clues. BUT first you must have a ink pad, writing utensil, compass (sometimes), signature stamp and a personal logbook before you can set out. A lot of people carve their stamps and make their logbooks. I bought a stamp and just a fancy little notebook for my first logbook (which I have filled up, and now have a nicer journal). The clue will take you to a container of some sort that is usually well hidden. The most popular container is lock & lock and knock off versions of them (which I use with no problems). Other people use rubbermaid containers or even camo taped zip lock bags. Anyway once you have your "a ha" moment and find the letterbox, inside there will be a stamp and a logbook. DO NOT TAKE THESE FROM THE BOX! You are going to stamp your signature stamp into the logbook that is in the letterbox and then you are going to use their stamp to stamp your logbook. Most people also write their handle (that you create on the two websites, the date, and where they are from in the logbook). Then you put everything back the way you found it. Some people carry washable markers with them instead of ink pads. It's a good idea when you find a really cool stamp that you don't want all one color. Sometimes there will be something extra in the letterbox. A hitchhiker is a sort of letterbox that is planted inside another letterbox. If you find one of those, you log it in your book, take it with you and plant it in another letterbox. Be sure to log your finds on the websites. The hitchhikers can usually be logged as well. Sometimes you might find a clue for a bonus box in the letterbox! For more information on the details please refer to the websites.

I first learned of letterboxing in July of 2007. The church I attend once in awhile held an "Amazing Race". Part of the race was finding letterboxes. Unfortunately for my team, we only found one because we got a late start. DO NOT GO LETTERBOXING IN THE DARK! Once I got back from the race, I went to the website that was included in our race packet. http://letterboxing.org. Letterboxing sounded really interesting to me. I found my area on the map only to discover Northern Michigan really didn't have too many boxes. I found about 7 or so in 2007 and then probably the same in 2008. One of the clues listed on LbNA (that's the letterboxing.org site), took me to a clue that was listed on Atlas Quest! What is this strange place? There was a bunch of "stuff" on that website. It really didn't hold much interest to me at the time. I created an account there however and logged my finds. In the spring of 2009, I told my cousin, koalacat, about letterboxing. She thought it sounded cool because she had always wanted to try geocaching (which is very similar but more costly). She came up and I took her boxin! She loved it and she quickly made accounts on LbNA and AQ. She got involved with AQ more than I did and was brave enough to attend an event! I haven't worked up the courage for that yet.
I've had some interesting experiences with letterboxing. Some of them scary, some of them funny, some of them infuriating (like not finding a box or taking things too personally on the message boards at AQ). So far I've found 150 some boxes. That's not a lot but considering where I live, I'll take it.
Besides koalacat, I have met MI Girl from the SITE Sleuths, which I just did on this past Tuesday! I am not the most outgoing person on the planet, so it will probably be awhile before I meet that many people.
Oh and yes I love Atlas Quest now that I've gotten used to it. The community is pretty cool. I still like both sites though. Most people have a preference.

Well that's all I am going to spit out today.
